Noxious Weed control

Noxious Weed Control

Noxious weeds are a weedy plant species that are controlled under state or territory legislation. Noxious weeds are amoung the most serious threats to Australia's natural environment and can have a major economic, environmental and social impact on Australia.

If not managed correctly, noxious weeds can cause damage to natural landscapes, agricultural land, waterways and coastal areas.

The first step in noxiuos weed prevention and the most cost effective is to prevent them from entering Australia. However as this is not always possible, a management plan to control noxious weeds needs to be followed.

Plateau Tree Service works closely with local governments, assisting them in noxious weed control and woody weed control programs and has done for many years. We worked together to develop efficient and environmentally sensitive methods for controlling the noxious weeds.

Plateau Tree Service’s mulch products are widely used by local government to control and prevent noxious weed infestations.
